Hero at intersections achieving flat surface fitting

Halved joint type kumiki fits each other. It can be used for splice, just like Koshikake does, but proves its merits at the intersection of two parts. When orthogonally joining two parts in the same height, the finished surface at the joint becomes flat. However, since the sectional thickness of the member is halved, it is slightly weak against tensile forces.
